This delicate yak bone necklace is all handmade by the Tibetan craftsmen. It features:

      •   It is composed with 10 dyed yak bone slip. The yak bone is dyed a dark brown color using Chinese tea.
      •  Each slip adorned with one of the 8 Auspicious symbole.
      •  The neckchain is made of 128 flat round yak bone beads, with 64 beads on each side.

The eight Auspicious Symbols represent the core of the Tibetan religion - Compassion is what makes our lives meaningful. It is the source of all lasting Happiness and Joy, and it is the foundation of a Good Heart, the heart of one who acts out of a desire to help others. The Eight Auspicious Signs are:
      •  Dhvaja - the banner signifies the victory of Buddhism
      •  Kalasa - the vase represents the treasury of all spiritual wealth
      •  Padma - the lotus flower implies purity
      •  Sankha - the white conch shell symbolizes the blessedness of turning to the right and proclaiming the glory of the saints by its humming sound
      •  Srivatsa - the endless knot denote the endless cycle of rebirth
      •  Two Fish - epitomize being rescued from the ocean of the misery of earthly existence
      •  Wheel of Dharma - embodies the teaching of Buddha's doctrine
      •  White Parasol - indicates protection from evil desires
